A worldbook is a setting book compatible with the FFRPG system, written by the game's developers and fans. It is designed to offer a complete reference to all important locations, mechanics and events a Gamemaster might need in the process of running an adventure or campaign in that setting.

GETTING INVOLVED
Anybody is welcome to start or contribute to a worldbook. The easiest way to do so is to set up a WikiSpace or personal homepage to display your work, then advertise your project on the Worldbook Discussion Forum. In general, it is best to gather a team of people to work on a worldbook, as the amount of work involved can quickly become overwhelming. To coordinate efforts, it's generally a good idea to post an outline giving others an idea of what needs to be written. A 'complete' worldbook will cover history, geography, and culture of the world in question, with additional material for special rules and character options unique to that setting.
